Introduction

Cape Classic Wines is owned and operated by South Africans.

We are a small importer of Cape and other New World wines, and also operate a boutique wine shop in Flanders, Belgium. We sell wholesale and retail but we are planning to re-arrange the business so that we operate with a team of distributors (see below) and concentrate on the import side. Our main focus has always been to deliver price quality wines, with a few icon wines for the aficionados. We are able to offer such low prices because we are small and do not have expensive advertising or fancy marketing people to pay! Using commercial couriers to deliver wines also add on to the costs so we try to make suitable arrangements with customers.

We offer the following full services:

• Cape & New World wines
• Wine tastings: at your home, business or association. In this regard we have done many tastings for charities and schools whereby we give them 10% of the evening's sales as a contribution towards their funds
• Professional advice service to Wine shops, butchers, delicatessen, bakeries, businesses, horeca and private individuals
• Cape Wine & Food Evenings (where our wines are matched to typical SA dishes)
